The shock resistant pressure gauge is filled with 500 grade silicone oil inside the case. The characteristics of 500 grade silicone oil are that it is not easily deteriorated when in contact with air for a long time at 150 ℃. When in contact with oxygen and chlorine at 200 ℃, the oxidation process is also slow. Its operating temperature can reach 200 ℃, with a pour point of -5 ℃ and a relatively high viscosity. It has excellent chemical stability and electrical insulation function, as well as moisture and water resistance.
Most other units choose glycerin or transformer oil mainly due to price factors. As one kilogram of silicone oil costs 55 yuan, while one kilogram of glycerin and transformer oil only costs more than 10 yuan, a shock resistant surface 100 meter meter requires 0.5 kilograms, which increases the cost of using silicone oil. However, the chemical stability of glycerin or transformer oil is not good, so all of our shock resistant pressure gauges are filled with silicone oil and fluorine oil is optional.
Some shock resistant pressure gauges have oil leakage at the joint. The pressure gauge joint is welded to the pressure gauge case by argon arc welding, and the instrument joint is welded to the case by overpressure testing to see if there is any leakage. This solves the problem of instrument oil leakage. Generally, shock resistant pressure gauges produced by pressure gauge units use screws to fix the instrument joint outside the instrument case. Three screws are three leakage points. We fix the instrument joint inside the instrument case to solve the problem of oil leakage caused by instrument screws. There is also the instrument cover. Our factory's instrument cover adopts two sealing rings. After the cover ring is removed, the instrument will still not leak oil unless the instrument cover is damaged.
