One reason is that the pointer does not move or moves very little, which may be due to the following reasons:
1. The valve of the calibrator is not open
2. The pointer is loose and one end of the pointer touches the dial.
3. The center hole of the sealing gasket of the calibrator joint is blocked, and the working medium cannot be transmitted into the pressure gauge.
4. The medium inside the oil cup of the calibrator is too dirty, which blocks the spring tube or transmission channel.
5. The rubber cup at the top of the calibrator screw is damaged or the spring tube is broken, resulting in a large amount of oil leakage.
The second is to reverse the pointer. The oil leakage of the calibrator or the unevenness of the oil cup needle valve may result in poor sealing, or it may be due to cracks in the spring tube. These faults are common and easy to solve.
The third is the phenomenon of jumping needles. The teeth of the sector gear may have rust, wear, and stains. Or the pointer axis tilts, bends, and rubs against one side of the dial.
The fourth is that the pointer does not return to zero, there is a return error, and the tapping displacement exceeds the tolerance. The balance spring is not tightened or enlarged enough, or the pointer is loose.
